Since we're on the subject of loving our readers today, I thought it would be a good idea to show mine some love as well! Now, I have only been writing Fan Fic for about...8 months or so, but in that time I have found some of the most loyal, most lovable people in the world!
We'll start with Bec.
She is definately my muse. She is always there to help me out of a block, and help me mash out somethingworth reading. Bec is an author in her own right, and is one of the best young writers I have ever seen!
Her stories are well thought out, and they just get better and better.
She has been with me from day one, and I am so thankful for her encouragement, and her support.
Next, there's Kas.
Kas is the reason I started writing Fan Fic, and the reason I love Draco Malfoy :) Reading her work is always exciting. Even when I re-read her work, I am amazed. She is a wonderful writer, and a huge support for me. Her current story has me on the edge of my seat and wanting more.
I don't know what it is about her version of Draco, but I am hooked.
Kas is becoming a muse for me as well, and I am thankful for her help.
We'll do Kerry next.
KJ is another of my readers who writes and I love her work. She can do comedy, (Her PPP version of Deathly Hallows is amazingly hillarious...) and she can do romance. In her long term fic, she has kindly added us, her readers into the story. She has taken a minor character (Seamus Finnegan) and turned him into a completely real, fleshed out character who is so easy to love.
Kerry has been there from the beginning too, always willing to give her oppinion and her feedback.
Siobhan...
Ah, Siobhan. I actually met her in a completely different forum (The thinking thread) and we just clicked. I havent read any of her work, but I have no doubt that what she does is amazing. She has a wondeful imagination, and when trying to figure out the problems in my Fic, she comes up with completely different story lines that blow me away!
Then theres Kimmy!
Kim started reading my fics on a whim, and I am so glad she did. She keeps me thoroughly entertained, on HPANA and on Facebook. She has just started a Fic with her dear Husband, and I am so glad she stalked me for it. It is gripping and I cant get enough.
She poses the question of What If? and they are doing a stupendous job of telling us the answers! Cheers Kim!
Last but not least...
There is Stefanie. Stefanie is more of the silent reader type, but when she gives input, it is well worth it. She is insightful, and doesnt miss a thing!
Thats it for my faithful readers. I love you all!

What Better Day Than Earth Day?
Today is Earth Day! And on top of that, it's the 40th anniversary of Earth day. I know I have been MIA for a few months in the blogging world, and I am sorry. But today I have a great bit of rambling senselessness for you!
One of my good writer friends has just gotten 'The Call'...okay maybe not THE call, but she is inching her way towards publication, more than I can say for myself! So today's blog will be dedicated to the very lovable and hillarious Hart Johnson.
The other reason I have decided to dedicate my blog to Hart today is because it is Earth day. What better way to spend it than going Au Natural? Thats right. I want EVERYONE to get naked. Right now. Come on. Hart is taking over the world, one nudist at a time.
I came to the conclusion at about 4 am that Earth Day is the perfect day for Hart. She is the ultimate nudist, and I admire her nakedness. Yep. I do! So, in honor of Mother Earth and Hart, I am going naked today. :)
Not only do I admire her for her Nakedness, I admire her as a writer. She has to be one of the best I have read. She has this habit of making me want to laugh and cry at the same time when I read her work. That was a first for me when I began reading it. She takes characters that I know and love and puts an ultra crazy spin on them...and she makes it work!
Now, I have not had the opportunity to read her 'cozy' novel that she is working on, but I am sure I will love it, and I have no doubt whatsoever that she will be hitting the shelves of our bookstores VERY soon.
She has also been a constant in the group of people encouraging me to write. When I first decided to join other people in the quest to write a novel in 30 days during NanoWriMo, She was there encouraging me all the way. I have a firm belief that without her convincing me, I would have never believed I could do it.
So today is my day to say Thank You. Thank You to Hart, and also to all the people who make me want to write, and encourage me to do so. You are a great group of people, and I dont know what I what I would do without you all!

Terrible Two's
The Terrible Two's. Those of us who are parents have all been there. Why I am getting slammed with them right now is beyond me. Justice has another week and a half of being one, but No, she has to hit Two before I am ready.
She already has the mind of about a four year old, and I am going crazy! She is just way too smart for her own good. I know a few years from now I am going to be absolutely thrilled that she is so smart, but for right now, it's killing me!
She talks better than most two year olds, and sometimes thats not a good thing. She has great problem solving skills. She's very independant.
She is too independant sometimes. And she has learned how to turn on the tears to get her way. I love my daughter with all my heart but today she makes me want to scream.
She has started driving me up the walls now. She has started using a shriek when she wants to be noticed. She pulls my couch apart. She tortures the dog.
But you know what? I love her. I wouldnt trade her for the world. She is my miracle and I am thankful for her.
That was quite a ramble today. So, I am going to go give her a huge hug and a kiss and tell her how much I love her.
Thanks for reading my little ramble and rant.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate it!

So, This is the last week of Nano! I hit 50k last week as most of you will probably already know. I have had a great time doing this and I plan on doing it again next year.
I dont think I would have had the ambition to get going on it let alone finish if it wasnt fot my fellow writers. So here is a huge Thank You!
I am really looking forward to celebrating with all of you come December 1st, when we can put all this craziness behind us! (Not to mention some of my favorite authors will be back to work on HPANA)
This is probably going to be really short, as I am going through a tough spot, but I am hoping to be back to normal shortly. I am trying to get myself back into writing mode as well, so for those of you who read my work, I am planning on writing soon so never fear!

Shaving Vs. Waxing...pros vs cons
Okay, per Issy's suggestion, i am going to try my hand at blogging about random things people post.
Today will be Shaving vs. Waxing...Pros and Cons.
Shall we start with the shaving? okay sounds good to me. I am one of those women who Hates to shave. seriously, i wont do it unless i have to. half the time my legs are pretty manly, especially during the winter.
I used to think i had to shave my legs every single day when i was in High School. that was what...6 or 7 years ago? between getting lazy, and having a toddler, it just doesnt happen that way anymore.
Shaving is time consuming and you can cut yourself.
The hairs come back in about a day or two anyways, so whats the point?
I always seem to get little ingrown hairs when i do decide i need to shave, and it sucks.
shaving just sucks.
Shall we move onto Waxing and or creams?
Waxing is an option for me for smaller areas...i.e. my face and whatnot. it doesnt take much time, and it makes the area smoother.
I have really dark hair, so ANY hair i get is dark so i have resorted to waxing on my face a few times.
It hurts like hell usually, but the effect is smoother and lasts longer.
Creams like Nair and whatnot smell horrid. its like throwing straight chemicals onto your legs.
and you have to sit and smell it for up to 5 minutes so that it does whatever it does...does it burn the hairs or what? im really not sure.
every time i have used a cream, it hasnt worked for me. maybe its because i have such coarse hair, but it really sucks to sit there smelling that crap just to have it not work.
So, all in all here is what i figure:
Shaving is good for swimming suit readiness
Waxing is good for the face, but i didnt like using it on my other body areas, due to the pain factor mostly, im a big baby.
Creams just stink and dont work.
So, i say shave the legs, wax the face, and just dont waste the money on the creams....
There is my rambling for this afternoon folks.

Sleep deprivation and the effects of infomercials
Seriously? i think i have figured out why they put these things on at 5 am. this guy is going on about making money from real estate.
In this economy, who wants to buy real estate to sell it again? and hes in his car. IN HIS CAR trying to sell me a freaking book. why i ask are people doing infomercials from their car?
I was watching something, then as i sat here and typed away trying to hit my 50k for NaNo, it somehow managed to go from tv shows to infomercials. *sigh*
Oh look...a new one is coming on. i really should just change the channel, better yet, go to bed. but i have become engrossed thoroughly in Tami's story...
Oh my hell...this one is for a BOOK about the 50 state quarters that came out. i am going to go crazy. he wants to sell me 50 quarters for $120 dollars.
Not happening dude. sorry. but if youre going to sell something, shouldnt it be something that is worth buying? Ugh. alright. enough for tonight (this morning).
